hip2hip knows dearly that girlhood is nuanced and sacred. hip2hip intends on documenting that experience, embracing and encouraging your singular demand to express YOURSELF. Our name hip2hip celebrates the feminine togetherness we all share, bound by our hips, from hand to hand, girl to girl, hip to hip. This literary magazine is your safe space to speak inner tumults, fantasies, sadnesses, and memories into the void. hip2hip honors the simultaneous messiness that accompanies girlhood, as well as its grace, its playfulness, its insanity, its comfort. 

Any piece, that good one, bad one, weird one, pretty one, angry one, super-mucho sad one– send it off to our publication. We believe in the strange, in the slow, in the simple, because
